For nearly two decades, founder Stephane Wojtowicz and his team have used simple, high-quality ingredients, consciously sourced from top purveyors, to create authentic French Viennoiserie. Their product line includes classic croissants, tarts, savory items, and seasonal specialties.

Stephane Wojtowicz's passion for artisan pastry began at the age of 16 in Lyon, France, the nation's gastronomic capital. He honed his skills in France, earning diplomas in both Baking and Pastry Arts. This led him to the prestigious position of head baker at La Cigale, Beirut's premier pastry shop. After seven years of invaluable experience, Stephane relocated his family to Philadelphia, seeking further career growth. He became the head baker for George Perrier's acclaimed restaurants. In 2008, recognizing an opportunity to enrich Philadelphia's culinary landscape, Stephane founded Au Fournil Inc., a French artisanal bakery. By 2012, Au Fournil had established itself as a leading wholesale provider of handmade French pastries to the Greater Philadelphia Area's top restaurants, coffee shops, and hotels. The bakery's continued success has enabled Stephane's wife, Nayla, and son, Clement, to join the team full-time.
